Ewelme is an historic Oxfordshire village of about 250 houses and 500 residents. It is nestled in a valley at the base of the Chiltern Hills about 4 miles east of Wallingford and 15 miles south of Oxford.
This ancient settlement traces its origins to the 10th century and is only half a mile north of the ancient Icknield Way.
This website is funded by the Ewelme Society and a grant from the Ewelme Parish Council as part of the legacy from the Royal Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
