Manor Cottage is the central building in the photograph.  The building to the left was the Reading Room and is now attached to the village hall and hosts the village pre-school.  The building to the right of the cottage (set back from the road) was the Wesleyan Chapel and now houses the Ewelme Village Store.  The house to the right was Bennett's shop.  The village pond or pool can be seen in the right foreground.
